Hey guys...
Just a little post-race update here!
Unfortunately, things didn't go to plan at all..On my third lap of practice, my engine mount broke, the engine dropped through, and snapped the end off of the Camshaft... Also found out that all the front of the chassis is bent too, I think it's time to get rid of the Corsa..
So, what's next? Well, I have my old Nova sat there with a nearly new engine in it. It's time to get that ready, and get back out there as soon as possible! I kind of wish I never stopped racing it. I won the most amount of races I have done in my whole career with that car. I haven't raced it in 2 years, so I am damn excited to get back out there again!
Also, this week has been crazy! I have featured in 3 newspapers/magazines.
I featured in Auto Racing Daily (http://autoracingdaily.com/keenan-tully-british-kid-dreaming-of-nascar/), the Eastern Daily Press (https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/norfolk-racing-driver-lotus-mechanic-usa-motorsport-cars-1-6742403) and the North Norfolk News (https://www.northnorfolknews.co.uk/news/norfolk-racing-driver-lotus-mechanic-usa-motorsport-cars-1-6742403)
I also had my first radio interview this week on BBC Radio Norfolk! Absolutely crazy! I am super excited to see what comes from it. I'm so glad that I am now finally getting some great publicity. You can listen to it here, and skip to 3.35.35! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p08jfk98
Although thing's didnt go our way, I was still glad to be back at race track, and get back out there even it was only for a couple of laps.. Massive thanks to our supporters The British Lung Foundation and Specialist Conservatory Roof Systems LTD. Sorry that I couldn't do any better for you guys...
Thanks for reading! Just a little update, and I hope you enjoyed it!
