Keenan starting his racing career at the age of 12. Keenan went straight into a full-size Stock-Car, without even driving a go-kart beforehand.  From the moment Keenan started racing, he knew he wanted to one day become a professional NASCAR Driver.  Tully started racing a series called Junior Hot Rods in the UK, from which he then transitioned into his current racing series called Stock Rods. Keenan's success on the track caught the eye of drivers and team members in the US, including NASCAR Truck Series Driver and NAVY Lt. Jesse Iwuji.

From this, in 2017, Keenan was offered by Jesse Iwuji to travel to the USA and race for a weekend in a NASCAR Super Late Model Stock Car, at Meridian Speedway, Idaho. Keenan came 5th in his first race and impressed the team with his talent, smoothness on the track, and skills.

This was Keenan's first taste of American Stock Car racing. After he returned to the UK, he picked up a further 13 victories in Stock rods. His mother is from Santa Barbara, USA, meaning he has a US Passport and citizenship, which is perfect for his dream to be a professional NASCAR driver.

The next step that Tully will be taking up his ladder to the NASCAR Cup Series, is to move to North Carolina in 2021, to give him the best chance of being noticed by a team, and produce more contacts within the NASCAR industry. He will continue to race and complete every single meeting in the UK until his departure to the USA. This won't be his first time living in the US either. In 2014 he lived in Murrieta, California for a period of 4 months.
